Pizza was as good or better than New York which is saying a lot. The so I was tasty and mozzarella was fresh and delicious. We followed it up with the sea bass and the bolognese which was excellent. I always found the food in London adequate but never great like Italy but this was close. It is a pretty comfortable restaurant with excellent service and friendly staff. You will enjoy the meal for dinner .
Simply put, the best meal I've had in London. They were very kind and accommodating. Very worth going put of your way.
A group of us had dinner at O Ver last night. We started with the Caprese salad, the rosemary Focaccia and we split the Sea Bass dinner. We loved it all. The service was good and sitting outside was nice. We finished with the Cannoli, which was more like a deconstructed cannoli instead of a whole, filled one. It was good, just different.
Warm, pleasant service along with a neopolitan pizza as good as you will find anywhere in the UK and beyond. Looking forward to many return visits to O Ver
Fairly authentic Italian in the heart of London. The mozzarella for the Burrato appetizer was fresh and smooth. I had the gnocchi, which were pillow-soft serve in a very light red sauce. My dining companion had one of their gourmet pizzas and loved it (she's Italian and is very picky about her pizza). But I really want to point out the service - impeccable. Post-COVID it has been hard to adequately staff many restaurants, and it shows. The staff at O'ver was top notch -- efficient, friendly and welcoming. These days, those attributes alone are worth the price of admission
Great spot near Borough Market! Kind service and calming ambiance. The starter we tried was tasty, but lukewarm. However, the entrees - a pasta and a pizza were quite delicious. Pizza was more than enough for two people, plenty to take home as well. Prices felt on par with many London restaurants. Able to split the bill following the meal directly at the table.
Dropped by this small, bright and airy location right before a show at the Globe nearby. While I didn't have a reservation they offered to sit me outside or on a barstool in the window. I chose the window. Service was swift and efficient with three different people waiting on me. I ordered Parmesan focaccia to start and a glass of Sangiovese. Unfortunately, right next to me was a large vase of very fragrant lilies and I am not too fond of that scent. It did interfere a little with the flavor of everything. I also ordered a bowl of Fusillo paolone pasta, which was a sausage and mushroom pasta with perfectly cooked fusillo. As I left, around seven pm, the place was beginning to fill. In all, a sweet little Italian restaurant that is worth the reservation or the outside seating.
Went in for a dinner - it was busy.... We sat outside and waited for a table. Had a glass of wine and were seated at a nice table. Compact space but they worked it out. We started with the shrimp and c as calamari fritti. Nice size and good shrimp. Firm. Soft calamari. Aldo done of the pizza breads. Nice oil and balsamic dipping... My entree was the pasta special which was shrimp with linguine in a white sauce. Quite delicious. . Nice spot. Will be back. I recommend this place.
I've ordered takeout here many times and absolutely love the quality and flavors. The pizza is incredible. That is crust that I dream about! The meatballs are so damn good too. This is a do not miss spot, and I love that the takeout I can bring back to my aparthotel, open a bottle of vino and just chill! Love!
